Picture of my grandfather.If anyone has any info about his family let me know.He lived in Mingo County Willamson West Virginia.Was raised by Cora Stafford Johnson.He was listed as the adopted son of Cora Stafford on the 1900 Census,Her two daughters are Bessie and Lulu.Cora is listed as divorcedfrom Stafford and Johnson.In the 1920 Census Cora is listed with her widowed daughter Bessie Hatfield and her children.

My grandfather Leonard Collins.I was hoping someone would help connect to a family.Leonard is the adopted son of the Stafford family.Used his real name.He is on the 1900 Mingo county West Virginia,with Cora Stafford(d)and her 2 daughters ,Bessie and Lulu.Bessie later married a Foley Hatfield and became a widow with 3 Children.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Evans
Henry Evans, son of William George Evans & Susan James (Owens) Evans, and his wife Mary Rebecca (Heflin) Evans, daughter of David Green Heflin & Mary Ann (Hester) Heflin. He was born in Troupe Co, GA and she was born in Cherokee Co, TX. Both are buried in Talpa, TX.

This is a picture of Cora Ann Anderson Collins and her husband Hubert Vernal Collins taken in their front yard in Cherryville, MO.
Cora was the daughter of Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson, and the Grandaughter to Sarah Bolin Atkinson.
Rev. Hubert Collins was the pastor at Cherryville Baptist Church for many years.
His parents were William T. and Dannie May Collins - he was born in Hancock County, Tenn. along with several brothers: Roy, Arvil, William (Bill),James, he also had two sisters, Marie and Olivia. His parents are burried in Pineville, KY.

Henry was born in Haywood SC/NC b1837-d1877 was in Co, K, 60 Vol Inf. At some point he moved to Dallas Ga. and married Nancy Rollins in 1860. She was born in 1844 in Paulding Co GA died in 1914. Both are buried in New Hope cemetery in, Paulding Co Ga. This orginal picture was almost gone and I had it redone in the 1970 so it is not perfect.Nancy parents were Williamson Rollins, b1810 in NC D 1848, M in 1830 to Martha Ann Price b1813 d1886 they had 10 children william L, Louisa Melvina, Martha Elizabeth, John Williamson, Lucy A, Mary Ann, Nancy E, Andrew J, Margaret J, Thomas Jefferson and Henry Russell. Henry R and Nancy had seven children william h, lilla, mary, laura, lou, georgia, martha.
