This photo was found in my grandmothers belongings. It looks to be a rite of passage in some way. Maybe a wedding, although the gentleman looks quite young. Maybe a graduation since they are holding some sort of certificate. If anyone has any idea please contact me at [contact link]
Thanks.

This photo was found in my grandmothers belongings. We assume this photo is of someone in her family, but I've been unable to locate anyone who knows. I'm hoping this site will help me find out who these people are. My grandmothers name was (Laura) Jane Thrasher Perry Coe Smith. Born 1892 in Goodman, McDonald, Missouri to J. Lewis Thrasher and Rachel Kinslow Thrasher. I have passed the picture to known members of the Thrasher family and have had no luck. I'm hoping one of you will know.

Titanic Survivor Molly Brown
Titanic survivor Molly Brown - the "unsinkable Molly Brown".

Margaret Tobin Brown was on the Titanic on its maiden voyage when it hit an iceberg. She made the crew of lifeboat 6 return to try to find other survivors, giving rise to the legend of a spunky, vocal woman. But then, she was all of that. Though both her husband and she were born of Irish immigrants, they rose to wealth and never forgot their roots.

Debbie Reynolds played Molly Brown in the movie musical "The Unsinkable Molly Brown".
