2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Carrie Fisher
A photo of Carrie Fisher (left) with her younger brother, Todd, her mother Debbie Reynolds and father, Eddie Fisher.
Carrie Frances Fisher was born to two entertainers in Beverly Hills, California. Her younger brother became an actor and director and she became an actor, writer, producer and public speaker. Her first movie role was in Shampoo (in 1975) but her most famous (and enduring) role was as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films.
She was very open about her mental illness (she was diagnosed as bipolar) and her subsequent addictions (primarily alcohol and cocaine) but through it all she was witty and accomplished.
She is survived by one daughter, her brother, mother, and two half sisters (by father, Eddie Fisher).

Teresa Miketinac
This is my amazing grandmother's (Teresa Miketinac) wedding photograph. Knowing how hard her life was and how the family struggled, it's overwhelming to see her so beautiful.

Florence Henderson - Carol Brady The Brady Bunch
A photo of Florence Henderson, best known as Carol Brady, the mom of the Brady Bunch, a television show that was on tv from 1969 - 1974. Although the original show only ran 5 years, there were specials and the reruns are still running over 40 years later.

After The Brady Bunch, her long career included commercials, cooking shows, her own talk show, and even Dancing With The Stars.
The mother of four children, she had 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren when she died on Thanksgiving - November 24 2016.
