Looking for ancestors of ggrandfather Franklin Marion SILMON b.1875 in Craighead Co AR & d. 1942 in Paragould, Greene CO AR. His mother was Louisa Wortham Sutherland Silmon London; she was born abt. 1844 in Poinsett Co Ar and died in Grubbs, Jackson, AR in 1885.

This photo was in an old family album with a date of 1893. No one has been able to share any info on Mary Harman. I found some Mary Harman's on ancestry but none with another copy of this picture. She is so beautiful and she needs to find her family.

My father's name was William Edward RILEY, b. 12 May 1916 d. 24 Oct 1967 both in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He and my mother, Mildred Viola SILMON, (b, 22 Aug 1918 Grubbs, Jackson County, Arkansas and d. 07 Jun 1988 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas) were married 30 Apr 1938 in Fort Smith, AR. William Edward RILEY was in the Navy in WWII (Squadron 466) and he is buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
One of his brothers and George "Mack" RILEY's father was George Matthew RILEY b. 04 Sep 1911 d. 03 Jun 1968 in the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. They had 5 additional siblings, Margaret "Pete" RILEY HOMAN, Susan RILEY STRODE KELLY, Thomas RILEY Jr., John RILEY, known as Bud, and Paul RILEY. We have lost all contact with Uncle George Matthew "Toad" RILEY's son, George Mack RILEY. We believe he is still in Kansas.
One of his brothers and George "Mack" RILEY's father was George Matthew RILEY b. 04 Sep 1911 d. 03 Jun 1968 in the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. They had 5 additional siblings, Margaret "Pete" RILEY HOMAN, Susan RILEY STRODE KELLY, Thomas RILEY Jr., John RILEY, known as Bud, and Paul RILEY. We have lost all contact with Uncle George Matthew "Toad" RILEY's son, George Mack RILEY. We believe he is still in Kansas.

Success! found William Edward Riley's adopted daughter Loretta Farr. Her mother was Minnie Lee Klepper Farr Riley.
When my aunt Margaret "Pete" Riley Homan died I found these wedding pictures of the daughter and her new husband. The pictures were taken or processed by Swanson Photo Service in Oklahoma City but no date is stamped on the back.

Sucess - my half sister's name is Loretta FARR, Her parents were Edward Eugene FARR and Minnie Lee Klepper FARR. I was told that my father adopted Loretta who was about the same age of me.

Sucess found Minnie Lee Kleppler's husband, Edward Eugene Farr 1917-1946. she married William Edward in Oklahoma City, OK (1950-1958) She was a beautiful blond widow with a teenage daughter, Loretta Farr, who my father adopted. I have wedding pictures of the daughter and her new husband taken by Swanson Photo Service in Oklahoma City but no date stamped on the back.

Unfortunately, I have no relatives alive who can remember the names of my father's second wife and her daughter. They came to visit me in Amarillo, Texas when my first child was born in 1958. They were later divorced and when my father died 24 Oct 1967 in Oklahoma City her name was not mentioned in his obituary.

Thomas P RILEY was born 14 Oct 1873 in California (per the 1920 Census) or Colorado (per the 1930 Census) and died 09 May 1953 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. Their ancestors are unknown.
