About me:
So many interests, so little time! I am an aspiring genealogist and avid scrapbooker, but also work fulltime in my own insurance agency! A wife, mother, and grandmother I am interested in acquiring any information, stories or pictures of my ancestors that I can locate! My direct paternal line are the Elliotts and the McCreas. My maternal line is the Dunns and the Maltbys.
About my family:
I haven't shared details about my family.

This is a distant ancestor of mine. Elizabeth would have been the 12th child born to Samuel & Ruth (Bauser) Maltby. This is a photo of her when she married Robert Parkhouse in 1881.

Jimmy Dunn & Sad Sack
My brother, Jim and our pet boxer, Sad Sack. I used to ride Sad Sack like a horse. When we moved up North, from the East Coast, Sad Sack ran away when he was left in the car, while we were dining in Fargo, North Dakota.

My Bio Dad
This is a picture of my biological dad, George Elliott, that I acquired from my brother, Jack in 1996 after he and I found each other. Jack had a different mother than I and was 17 years older than me. We did not know each other existed until 1993 when our dad's sister, Doris told Jack about me.
I can only assume this picture was taken sometime after Jack's birth in the late 1930's.

Elsie Dunn & son, Charles
This is the first picture I recently acquired of my maternal grandmother. She died before I was born and when my mother was only 9 years old in 1933. She is pictured with her first born son, Charles Alfred Dunn. She died as a result of an etopic pregnancy - which would have been her 10th child.

My maternal grandfather
It is said that my grandpa was a preacher for Volunteers of America. He was born in Denver, Colorado, but his wife's family was from the Michigan City, Indiana and Jackson, Michigan area. James & Elsie migrated with thier 9 children to Wilmington, Delaware, which is where Elsie died in 1933. My grandpa remarried and lived in Akron, Ohio which is where he died in 1963.

Mr. Dave Stevens & Florence Jewel(McClenny)Stevens
This is my husband, Jerry's paternal grandfather and grandmother. Mr. Dave is featured in our "mystery place" as one of our unsolved mysteries. Florence Jewel was the only grandparent that Jerry knew growing up and she died when he was a freshman in college in 1970 in Gladwater, Texas
