After a little research, I suspect this may Nellie born 1887 Pennsylvania.

Born on February 3rd, 1897 in Tingvoll, Norway. She emigrated to America in 1907 with her parents and sister Carrie (Valentine). She died in 1934 of a diabetic coma.

Born in December of 1834 in the Rockland Township of Pennsylvania and died on the 23rd on March in 1901 in the Irwin Township of Pennsylvania.
He did in fact serve in the U.S. Army during the Civil War.
He was mustered into Company L, Fourth Cavalry, the same company as his brother Andrew.
He was a private and served as a hospital stewart.
He was born on January 29th, 1787 (200 years before me!) in Pennsylvania and died on December 21st, 1870 in Pennsylvania at age 83.
He fought in WWI as a private in the 51st Infantry regiment under the 6th division, in the 5th Army Corps (confusing!)
He fought in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, which lasted from September to November of 1918.
Born on May 10th, 1896 in Pennsylvania and died on February 22, 1978.
