Adril Floyd Zipperer
A photo of Adril Floyd Zipperer was the groundskeeper for Mr. Ringling (of the circus fame) in Sarasota, FL. He also owned and farmed the land in east Manatee County, FL on what is now known as Zipperer Road. This photo was taken on his farm when he was approximately 25 years old.
Adril had scarlet fever when he was 3 years old, and the illness turned his hair bright-white for the remainder of his life.
Adril born November 28, 1897 in Valdosta, GA and died in Wakulla, FL in 2000. He was my great grandfather and to date no one can make a peanut butter sandwich like my Pop.
He was the son of Charles Robert "Tony" Lovett Zipperer Jr. and Laura Lee "Pet" Wisenbaker, both of whom are buried in Fogartyville Cemetary, Manatee Co. FL. He is the paternal grandson of Charles Robert "Jack" Zipperer Sr. & Eliza Corbitt of Lowndes Co, GA. and the maternal grandson of Adriel Herman Wisenbaker and Harriet Rebekah Wisenbaker of Lowndes Co, GA. Both families hail from the "Georgia Salzburgers".
More information including the family tree in both pdf and gedcom format is available at www.infinitefamily.com.

Charles Robert "Jack" Zipperer Sr.
Believed to be Charles Robert "Jack" Zipperer Sr. but some confusion exists whether this may in fact be Charles Robert "Tony" Zipperer Jr. who apparently looked exactly like his father.
Taken on a trip to see his grandchildren in Manatee County, FL. Born June 11th 1830 in Effingham Co., GA. Died November 11th, 1913 buried in the Zipperer family cemetary near Lake Park, FL. Married to Eliza Corbitt.

John Tanner Sr. or Elijah Youngblood Sr.
Seeking proof of identity. Is this John Tanner Sr., or is it Elijah Youngblood Sr.?
Can you help us identify this man?

Sarah Anderson
Wife of August Anderson. Born in Sweden. Emmigration unknown.
We believe this woman's name is Victoria Anderson, but we cannot confirm. She was the mother of Ellen, Gladys, and "Babe" Anderson and spent her later years in the Anaheim, CA vicinity. We believe she may have been living with Babe at that time, who was a female golfer.
This lady was my great-great grandmother. One of her daughers, Ellen Anderson, married Arthur Harker and together they had 4 children- Jerry, Buddy, and two sisters. We believe they lived in the Deluth, MN area. Jerry (my grandfather) was adopted by his mother's sister Gladys and was renamed Carl Hanton II at a very young age. They lived in Fort Myers, FL.

Hurbert Anderson
Son of August and Sarah Anderson. Born in MN or MI. Parents born in Sweden.
This photo came to us from an Anderson/Harker descendant. A bit about our family- my grandfather, Carl Hanton II was born in 1930 as Jerry Harker. His parents were Arthur and Ellen Harker. Ellen's maiden name was Anderson, and her sister Gladys (aka "Auka") adopted Jerry Harker and renamed him Carl Hanton II. This photograph came from Auka's collection, and we know it to be a relative of Jerry Harker, but do not know if this man is a Harker or an Anderson.
